We are an extremely friendly and welcoming club who love to train as hard as our bodies will allow. We have a dojo in Mistley, near Manningtree and a new dojo at Essex University (Wivenhow Campus). Our Mistlety dojo welcomes members from 7 and has members in the 70s!. The University of Essex dojo is for adults only. See training times below.

SENPAI JAMES
James started his Karate career in 1984 with Sensei Roy Banton at Leyton Dojo when he was just 12 years old then joined Shihan Liam Keaveney at Kokoro in 1999.
James attained his Kuro-obi (black belt) at the 2018 BKK Summer Camp and opened NINTAI DOJO not long after in November 2018. Since then the dojo has steadily grown to a regular “family” who train together when they can with a full heart and a sound head.
