We’re a Kyokushin karate dojo based in Essex, UK. An extremely friendly and welcoming club that loves to train as hard as our bodies will allow.
Our Mistley dojo welcomes members from 7 years old, with karateka in their 70s. Whether you are taking your first step or returning to the gi, there is a place for you here.

James started his karate career in 1984 with Sensei Roy Banton at Leyton Dojo, aged just 12. He later joined Shihan Liam Keaveney at Kokoro in 1999.
After attaining his black belt at the 2018 BKK Summer Camp, he opened Nintai Dojo in November 2018. Since then, the dojo has grown into a family who train together with a full heart and a sound head.
